I live in the South and I enjoy drinking ice tea. It is a Southern tradition. Typically our southern tea is super sweet too. But when it comes to my family we try to skip the sugary sweet beverages. I was incredibly excited to find an alternative tea beverage in Little Me Tea.
Little Me Tea is a caffeine-free organic tea sweetened with only fruits and veggies. It was created by a mom (Melinda Hicks). Melinda was a mom on a mission just like me trying to find a healthy alternative to juices that were loaded in sugar. I can’t tell you how delighted I was to find a juice box with only 6 grams of sugar!
I love the nutritious aspect of this product especially being a tea drinker myself. My daughter loved the taste and the juice box was the perfect size for her little hands. Little Me Tea comes in four delicious flavors: Julias Tropical Tea, Zane’s Grape Tea, Fruit Bunch Tea, and Berry Tasty Tea. My daughters favorite is Zane’s Grape Tea. It is wonderful to be able to give my toddler a healthy option in addition to her milk and water.
Tea has been shown to have a myriad of health benefits. Little Me Tea is almost 70% tea. I love that! It boasts the Non-Gmo project verified in addition to being certified Organic. No pesticides in my little girls tea! The packaging is also bpa free. Little Me Tea has my vote for a quality product with quality packaging. Plus this company is family owned. Little Me Tea is going to be wonderful for the summer months ahead when my daughter needs extra hydration when we are on the go. It does not need refrigeration until it is opened so it’s easy to toss in the diaper bag or back pack. I absolutely love the convenience but the health aspect has me sold!
